The ninth match of the KFC Big Bash T20 competition takes place today as Western Australia Warriors take on Victoria Bushrangers at WACA in Perth
Despite having won the competition four times, the Bushrangers are not in good form as of late with just one win from three games.
They go into the game without two of their best players in the competition, David Hussey and Cameron White, who are both away on international duty, although interestingly, there is a two day-gap between this fixture and the 2nd ODI between Australia and England, which has led to many asking whether they could have play in Perth.
Should they both miss out, then Brad Hodge will continue to lead the side.
Just like the Bushrangers rely heavily on their captain and vice-captain, Western Australia need their foreign recruit Chris Gayle to take charge.
The day it was announced that the IPL franchises had not considered this hard-hitting batsman for the fourth edition of that tournament, he hit 61 from 30 balls against a hapless New South Wales side, although it's worth pointing out that either side of that innings, he failed to impress.
Fortunately for the Warriors, Shaun Marsh has been in good form and if the two are in form again today then the Warriors may well take the win.
The Warriors also have only two points from their three games and the clamour for the results will mean that this game is a must-win for both sides as defeat will all but push that side out of the tournament.
The game airs live at 365 > Live Cricket from 09:00 GMT.
