Us Pga Championship 2015 4th Round Odds Tee Times And Betting Tips

All the latest news, betting odds and information ahead of the final round of the 2015 US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits, where Jason Day is aiming for his first major title and Jordan Spieth is going for his third of the year.

The 2015 US PGA Championship looks to be a final round shoot-out between Jason Day, going for his first ever major after a number of near misses, and Jordan Spieth, a proven winner with two of golf’s biggest prizes (Masters and US Open) under his belt this year already.

The scoreboard suggests that Day will win, with the Australian two shots clear of Spieth on -15 after three rounds. Day is clearly looking over his shoulder though and made reference to Spieth’s chances after his round on Saturday, saying:

“If he goes out and wins tomorrow from putting well then he deserves it. But I’m going to give him a fight”

Spieth, who sits on -13 after some fantastic play over Friday and Saturday, is chasing history and will become the first man in history to win all three American majors in one season. The 22-year-old has claimed though that he is focused only on winning his first ever US PGA title, stating:

“Just to get my name on the Wanamaker Trophy, that’s about it, that’s the only history I’ll be thinking of when I step out on the first tee.”

Sunday’s Fourth Round Tee Times

Sunday’s Two Ball Tips

Look for the big names, who are capable of explosive runs of birdies, to come to the fore on Sunday.

Phil Mickelson fired in a 66 on Saturday and he should put in a score that will test those ahead of him again today. His playing partner Hiroshi Iwata scored a 63 on Friday but it’s been sandwiched by a 77 and 70, which is more reflective of his ability.

Rory McIlroy has been up and down all week and claimed that he is probably out of contention. The Northern Irishman won’t give up and he’ll want to both put his name in the mix and also play himself into top form ahead of an end of season shoot-out for world number one with Spieth. He’s playing with Charl Schwartzel and should beat the South African.

Finally, expect Spieth to outscore Day on an afternoon where it could be easier to be a chaser than the leader. The American hit six birdies in his closing eight holes yesterday and anything like that will see him beat his playing partner, who could struggle with nerves as he aims for his first major.
