Bud Selig, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times, sent a team to review Dodger Stadium security.

The security of Dodger Stadium is currently under review by Major League Baseball.

According to an article in Saturday's Los Angeles Times by Bill Shaikin headlined "Selig sends delegation to review stadium security" the Commissioner of baseball, Bud Selig, "has dispatched a task force to Dodger Stadium to review security procedures there."

The "six-man delegation...will remain on site through the weekend and report back to Selig."

The Dodgers host the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend with a game on Saturday night at 7:10pm PT. The two teams will also play on Sunday at 1:10pm PT as Chris Carpenter gets the start for the Cardinals.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been under increased pressure to improve security at their games following the beating of a fan earlier this season, Bryan Stow. Stow reportedly did nothing to provoke the attack and has suffered brain damage as a result of the assault.
