Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets Final Score

The Lakers have come in as a big favorite against Denver for Friday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers face the Denver Nuggets from downtown Los Angeles tonight as the top two teams in the Western Conference go head to head.

At first glance Denver actually appear to have really attractive odds in this game as Players Only have them set at +330 (33/10) to win straight up.  However, with Carmelo Anthony still recovering from injury, Denver cannot really be expected to have much of a chance and the Lakers are set as heavy favorites at -420 (5/21).

With the Lakers the likely winner of this game but with really short odds straight up, betting the spread looks like the best option for tonight and the Lakers are favored at -8.0 (-105; 20/21; Players Only). 

Our recommendation is to take Los Angeles to cover that spread.  Denver are a weak team on the road at 11-12 on the year, but besides that they are without their best player and most prolific scorer.  They do not appear to stand a fighting chance in this game, especially if Kobe Bryant is good to go (ankle problems).
