NBA Utah Jazz vs Phoenix Suns Spread Betting

Crunch Sports Staff - 4 Mar 2010

Tonight's game takes place at 10:40pm ET.

The Phoenix Suns host the Utah Jazz tonight in what is a moderately important game in the Western Conference.  There's still a great deal of games left in the regular season but Utah hold just a half game lead on the Suns in the 'battle' for fourth place in the standings out west.  Both teams will want to win to gain momentum in earning home court advantage in the playoffs so expect a fairly tense game tonight.

It should be pointed out that the Suns have been hot lately, winning 8 of their last 10.  They are also one of the stronger home teams this year as they have a solid 23-7 record in Phoenix at this point in the season.

The Jazz aren't playing poorly by any measure but they have only won 6 of their last 10 games and they are tapering off a little bit when compared to the success that they were enjoying just a few weeks ago.  The main problem with Utah is still their overall road record as they are just 14-14 as visitors so far this season.  Two recent road losses by the Jazz to both the Los Angeles Clippers and the Sacramento Kings have to really weaken your confidence in backing this Utah team to cover the spread tonight in Phoenix.

Players Only have that spread set at -1.5 in the Suns favor and our recommendation is to pound Phoenix to cover that spread.  This is the late game for NBA betting action so be sure to head over to Players Only even if it's getting late.
