The Kentucky Wildcats have advanced to the Final Four as they defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels on Sunday.

The North Carolina Tar Heels and the Kentucky Wildcats met earlier today for the right to advance to the Final Four in Houston, Texas.

North Carolina entered as the higher seed however the Wildcats were the team that persevered as they posted a seven point win with a final score of 76-69.

Kentucky completed the final puzzle to this year's Final Four as the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams made it to college basketball's final weekend with their win over the Kansas Jayhawks earlier today. On Saturday the Connecticut Huskies defeated the Arizona Wildcats and the Butler Bulldogs defeated the Florida Gators.

The national semifinals are set as UCONN will face Kentucky while VCU will face Butler. Those two games will take place next Saturday with the national championship game scheduled for Monday, April 4th.
