Utah State are the favorites to win the WAC's automatic bid to the big dance.
There are really only two teams in the WAC that have been given a chance to win their conference tournament: Utah State and Nevada.

The Aggies of New Mexico State are currently riding a 15 game winning streak as they have not lost a game since January 4th. Importantly, Utah State won all of their games against both Nevada and New Mexico State this year whether they were home or away games. Their most recent game, in fact, was against New Mexico State in what was a one-sided victory for the Aggie as they posted an 18 point spread.
Some might point out that the last time the Aggies lost it was to Louisiana Tech, and those two teams may see eachother in the semis, however that game was a long time ago now and New Mexico State really have things together at this point.
