Division leaders from the regular season will go head to head from Calgary.
The Eastern Division results are in as are the Western Division results. It all points to a showdown between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Montreal Alouettes that will take place from Calgary this upcoming weekend.
Let's look back at the action from last weekend before looking forward to the Grey Cup.
Eastern Division final: Monteal Alouettes 56, BC Lions 18
Alouettes QB Anthony Calvillo, 37, threw five touchdown passes and had 19 completions for 312 yards, while Montreal's defence forced five turnovers.
"It was crazy, throwing the ball and finding guys wide open," Calvillo said. "It was exciting to do what we did today, I'll enjoy it, but we have to get ready for next week."
Throughout the game BC's QB Casey Printers kept scrambling to find guys in the open, with little or no success.
"They were better than us, that's it," said defensive end Ricky Foley. "Up front, in the back end, offence, defence – you don't get beat like that and have too many good parts of the game."
Western Division final: Saskatchewan Roughriders 27, Calgary Stampeders 17
Saskatchewan QB Darian Durant threw three touchdown passes and was 18-of-25 passing for 204 yards, while Calgary QB Henry Burris finished 20-of-32 passing for 250 yards and had three interceptions (and was sacked four times).
"They did what we had done in the past," said Burris. "They showed true championship grit and that's why they are the West Division champions."
The win for Saskatchewan will make for a fairly easy drive or short flight for the thousands of "Rider Pride" fans who will undoubtedly make their presence known at McMahon Stadium in Calgary next Sunday.
"It will be like having a home game in Calgary," said Riders head coach Ken Miller. "Our fans will be there on masse and we look forward to seeing and greeting them there. I don't know how many Montreal fans will be there but I know there will be thousands of Riders fans."
