Leonardo insists PSG don't want to sign Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC target Kaka

Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Kaka, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, according to director of football Leonardo.

Kaka has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, with reports in Spain suggesting that Los Blancos are ready to cash in on the 29-year-old.

As well as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG reportedly showing interest in the Brazil international during the January transfer window, Manchester City and Tottenham have also been monitoring the former AC Milan player.

Reports in France last week suggested that a move to PSG was close - something which Kaka insisted via his Twitter page was not true. And now Leonardo has ruled out a January move for the playmaker.

"There is nothing," he told L'Equipe.

"I have known Kaka for 11 years, and when he joined Milan he could have been loaned to PSG.

"We have a very good relationship but we have never asked Kaka to come here."

Although Kaka insists he is happy in the Spanish capital, former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon recently claimed that he and other players are unhappy at the club under Jose Mourinho.

Calderon, who was in charge at the Bernabeu from 2006-2009, has claimed that several Spanish players are unhappy with the Special One and that Kaka has not spoken with the former Chelsea boss for four months.

He told Ona FM: "The players are no longer happy. He [Mourinho] hasn't spoken to Kaka once in the last four months.

"The Spanish players are unhappy with their situation because of the privileges Mourinho gives to the Portuguese players."
