Radamel Falcao, who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, will not leave Atletico Madrid this summer, according to team-mate Mario Suarez.
Falcao has been on Chelsea's radar for some time and reports over the past few weeks have suggested the Blues could make a move to sign the Colombia international should they fail to sign Porto striker Hulk.
Manchester City have also been monitoring the availability of the 26-year-old, who it is thought could be sold by Atletico this summer as they look to balance the books, while reports in Spain last week claimed Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson is also considering a move for Falcao.
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo is believed to be prepared to part company with Falcao, who cost the club £32million when he joined them from Porto just twelve months ago, as a result of the Portuguese side still being owed around £16m from the deal.
But midfielder Suarez believes the highly-rated forward will still be at the Vicente Calderon when the summer transfer window closes at the end of August.
"I have said before that Falcao would be here with us, and he currently is," he said.
"He really likes being at the club, he has said it many times. Atletico's officials have also said that they want him to stay and that he will not leave, so there is no need to talk about this anymore.
"This will be talked about all summer, but we are calm, because that is the type of feeling that he transmits to us.
"He is our goal poacher and we want him to stay."
