Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to sell Cristiano Ronaldo next year - for €200million.

Recent reports in Spain have suggested Ronaldo is considering submitting a transfer request after he had stated that he was "sad because of a professional issue" at the club.

The Portugal international, who joined Los Blancos from Manchester United in 2009 for a world record £80million, had refused to celebrate scoring two goals in Madrid's recent 3-0 win over Granada in La Liga and has been the centre of intense speculation about his future ever since.

Ronaldo last week insisted the unknown issue was not a financial one, despite reports in Spain suggesting he is wanting a new deal worth as much as £25m a year.

The 27-year-old has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in recent days, while a report last weekend in the Sunday Mirror had suggested Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson would be prepared to ask his employers to bankroll a move for the forward if he is serious about leaving the Spanish giants.

And according to Goal.com, the Spanish giants are prepared to sell their prize asset for €200m (£160m) - a price which would almost certainly end any interest from Old Trafford - should they be unable to resolve his current situation at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo currently earns around £10m and reports in Spain earlier this week suggested PSG and big-spending Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala are prepared to offer him the chance to double his money by joining them.
