Juan Mata has backed Chelsea team-mate Fernando Torres to start scoring goals again, and insists the striker is playing well.
Torres has largely struggled for form and goals since his record move from Liverpool to Stamford Bridge just over twelve months ago.
But Mata insists the £50million forward will soon rediscover his touch in front of goal.
He told Marca TV: "Torres is good, calm and training and playing very well.
"I know everyone talks about his goals [record] but I know he's going to [score more].
"He has provided many assists this season and he is certainly going to change those assists into goals."
Mata, who scored in Sunday's 3-3 draw with Manchester United, is also happy with how he has settled in at Chelsea following his move from Valencia last summer.
"I am very pleased and happy with this first season in London," he added.
"I am learning quickly and adapting to the football."
