Chelsea FC target Hulk keen on moving before transfer window closes

Porto striker Hulk, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, has revealed he is ready to move to the Premier League this month.

Chelsea have shown interest in the Brazil international for some time as they look to continue their summer spending and agent Teodoro Fonseca has already confirmed he is aware of the Blues' interest in the 26-year-old.

And speaking after Saturday's shock 2-1 defeat to Mexico in the gold medal match at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Hulk said: "This could be the time for me to move.

"I would feel comfortable with moving clubs and the English league is one that appeals to me."

Chelsea face competition from a number of clubs in the race to sign the forward, who has a whopping €100million release clause in his Porto contract.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have shown interest in Hulk, while reports in recent days have suggested Zenit St Petersburg are preparing to launch a bid.

It is believed Porto would be prepared to sell should their receive a bid of around €40m, and Fonseca has hinted that a move could happen before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

"Hulk has a contract, he likes FC Porto, but at the moment everything has a question mark," he told Radio Renascenca.

"We sometimes want a player to stay, but the conditions aren't the best.

"Sometimes clubs have to give up a right, a player, or a person to keep their structure. People come and go, but the clubs stay.

"Everything is possible in the world of football."
