Roberto Carlos: Chelsea FC target Jose Mourinho will stay at Real Madrid CF

Jose Mourinho will stay at Real Madrid next season, according to Anzhi Makhachkala defender Roberto Carlos.

Reports in England and Spain over the past few weeks have suggested that Mourinho is considering quitting as Real boss at the end of the season, with several Premier League clubs - including Arsenal, former club Chelsea, and Tottenham - all linked with the Special One.

Despite being ten points clear of rivals Barcelona at the top of La Liga, it has been reported that the 48-year-old was recently involved in a bust-up with defender Sergio Ramos, while he has also come in for criticism following the recent El Clasico clashes with Barcelona.

But despite speculation increasing that a return to England is on the cards, Carlos has claimed that the Portuguese will remain at the Bernabeu.

"He told me he has a running contract and that he will stay," the Brazilian told Canal Plus.

"I told him that if he changed his mind, Anzhi would be waiting for him with open arms.

"He is the best coach in the world."
