Sir Alex Ferguson confident Paul Pogba wants to stay at Man Utd

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is confident Paul Pogba will sign a new contract despite interest from Chelsea and Juventus.

Arsenal and Manchester City are also keen on the 18-year-old, who last month rejected a new contract offer from the Red Devils.

Reports in recent days have suggested that Chelsea are preparing to launch a bid for the Frenchman at the end of the season, but Ferguson believes the teenager, who made his Premier League debut in Tuesday night's win over Stoke, wants to stay at the club.

"Pogba did very well," said the Scot.

"The boy has great talent and tremendous physique for an 18-year-old. You can't believe it.

"We are negotiating his contract at the moment.

"It is a bit complicated at the moment because he has changed his agent a couple of times.

"But the boy wants to stay, that is obvious. Hopefully we can get it done soon."
