Eden Hazard has decided that Chelsea FC are the club for him.
Eden Hazard will be playing his football for Chelsea next season and Hulk could also arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer
Eden Hazard has become a household name in English football without kicking a ball and it appears that Chelsea have won the race to sign the 21-year-old playmaker, with a transfer fee in the region of £32 million.
Hazard has been something of a tease on his Twitter page, tweeting a series of comments which have dropped hints as to which club he might be joining.
Many thought Manchester City’s wealth would ensure they could outbid their rivals and offer him an unmatchable salary, although it appears that Chelsea are going to lure Hazard from Lille instead.
Hazard made 147 appearances for Lille since 2007, scoring 36 goals and he has already become an established Belgian international, playing 27 times for his country.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s summer spending may not be limited to Hazard, with The Guardian reporting that Hulk could also arrive at Stamford Bridge from FC Porto.
The 25-year-old Brazilian was an integral part of the Porto team that won the domestic league and Europa League under Andre Villas-Boas and it is thought a fee of £30 million could prise him away from the Portuguese club.
