Santos striker Neymar may be a transfer target for some of Europe's elite, but here's £40million-rated forward doing his best Tom Daley impression...

Barcelona and Real Madrid are widely seen as frontrunners in the race to sign Neymar, who Santos recently admitted could leave the club before his contract expires.

Neymar has been linked with the two Spanish giants for some time, while Chelsea have also shown interest in luring him away from South America.

The Brazil international last year snubbed a move to Europe, instead putting pen-to-paper on an improved three-year deal with the South American giants that ties him to the club until after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

It has widely been thought that the youngster would move to Europe at some point before his contract expires, although Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro has always insisted that his prize asset is not for sale.

However speaking to Tuttosport last month, Ribeiro revealed: "He will not leave until at least next year, but we are interested in talking with the clubs that want him."
