Bookmakers expecting FC Barcelona v Real Madrid CF Champions League final

Bookmakers believe football fans will be treated to a Barcelona v Real Madrid Champions League final in May.

Real Madrid beat APOEL Nicosia 3-0 on Tuesday night in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, all but guaranteeing their place in the semi-finals.

Barcelona were held to a goalless draw away to AC Milan in their first leg on Wednesday night - the first time Pep Guardiola's side have failed to score in a Champions League match since November 2009.

Barca had a claim for a penalty turned down in the first half when Alexis Sanchez was brought down, while at the other end, Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic went close as AC Milan threatened on the break.

The Catalans will now need to beat Milan at the Camp Nou to ensure their place in the semi-finals, but bookmakers William Hill expect them to do just that.

Hill's offer just 1/5 that Barca progress to the final four (Milan 10/3), while it is 10/11 that the final is an all-Spanish showdown between Guardiola's men and Jose Mourinho's Madrid side.
