Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is believed to be a transfer target for Juventus

The 26-year-old's future at Anfield is in doubt, with Reds boss Roy Hodgson reportedly ready to offload the centre-back and the Serie A side ready to make a move to sign the player.

Agger was a key player under former manager Rafael Benitez but has failed to feature regularly this season, with injuries restricting him to just five starts in the Premier League under Hodgson.

Despite reports, Hodgon has denied trying to sell Agger after he was linked with a move to Wolfsburg last month.

But reports in Italy suggest Juventus are ready to make a bid to sign the Denmark international, with a loan deal during the transfer window a possibility.
