Liverpool FC target Salomon Kalou set to join Lille on four-year deal

Salomon Kalou, who has been linked with a number of clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool, is set to complete a move to Lille.

The former Chelsea striker was released by Chelsea at the end of May and has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks.

As well as interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, Tottenham have been linked with the Ivory Coast international, along with Schalke, former club Feyenoord, and several clubs from Italy and Spain.

But Lille have also been showing interest in the 26-year-old for some time, and according to La Voix du Nord, the forward is set to undergo a medical this weekend before putting pen-to-paper on a four-year deal.

Kalou spent six years at Chelsea, scoring 60 goals in 244 games.
