Manchester United winger Nani could be set to leave the club as a result of the signing of Ashley Young
Young is expected to confirm his £20million move to Old Trafford by the end of the week after undergoing a medical on Wednesday evening.
And Nani, who earlier this month admitted a move to Real Madrid was of interest, could be on his way out of Manchester providing England international Young completes his move to the city.
Last season saw Nani enjoy his best run of form to date for the Red Devils, but the arrival of Young would see him pushed down the pecking order at the club, while United manager Sir Alex Ferguson opted to start with Antonio Valencia on the right of midfield in the closing stages of the last campaign.
The winger is said to be open-minded about the prospect of leaving the club this summer as Ferguson continues to be linked with a move for Arsenal winger Samir Nasri.
Nani, who was left out of the starting line-up for last month's Champions League final, admitted the season ended on a low note.
"I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth after not being a starter in the Champions League final," he told reporters earlier this month.
"I was hoping to play from the start, but it is up to the coach to decide."
Juventus are believed to be interested in signing the 24-year-old, while AC Milan and Inter Milan are also interested in the Portugal international.
Reports in Italy recently have suggested United could offer Nani to Inter as part of a deal for midfielder Wesley Sneijder, who remains on their summer shopping list.
