Manchester United will reportedly launch a bid for Benfica forward Nicolas Gaitan this summer.
United have been linked with the 23-year-old for some time and reports in recent weeks have suggested that the Red Devils have renewed their interest in the Argentina international.
The reigning Premier League champions are believed to have had a scout in attendance last Saturday night as Benfica beat Nacional, and according to talkSPORT, a summer move to Old Trafford could be on the cards.
Barcelona and Manchester City are also believed to be keen on signing the Argentine, although United are widely seen as frontrunners.
Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira last week revealed that the club are ready to clash in on their €30million-rated star, who has previously admitted he is keen on a move to Manchester.
