Olympic Football 2012 fixtures for Wednesday, August 1st

There are eight games taking place today in the Men's Olympic football at London 2012, with Great Britain looking to book their place in the quarter-finals of the tournament, and favourites Brazil also in action.

Wednesday's third and final group games at the London 2012 Olympics take place throughout the day, and once again, across Britain.

Team GB, who were held to a draw in last Thursday's opener with Senegal, beat UAE 3-1 on Sunday and now only need to avoid defeat against Uruguay to reach the last eight.

A draw or better at the Millennium Stadium would see Stuart Pearce's side reach the quarter-finals at the expense of the Uruguayans.

Pre-tournament favourites Spain take on Morocco and will be looking to end their disappointing campaign with a win after they again suffered a shock defeat last time out, losing 1-0 against Honduras.

Brazil, who beat Egypt in their opener, impressed again against Belarus at the weekend and will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent record when they take on New Zealand this afternoon.

Wednesday's London 2012 Olympic Football fixtures:
