There are seven games taking place this afternoon in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham all in action as the 2012-13 season kicks off.
Saturday's Premier League action gets underway at 3pm, and at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal play host to Sunderland with Gunners fans still reeling from the £24million sale of Robin van Persie to rivals Manchester United.
Although Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has brought in the likes of Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud, and Lukas Podolski this summer, the Frenchman is also without midfielder Alex Song, who looks set to join Barcelona in the next few days.
Can the Gunners make a winning start to the new season, or can the Black Cats return to Sunderland with three points?
Also at 3pm, Fulham play host to Norwich, with the home side leaving out Clint Dempsey, who is trying to force through a move to Liverpool, while at Loftus Road, QPR take on Swansea.
Newly-promoted Reading start their top-flight campaign by playing host to Stoke, while at The Hawthorns, West Brom take on Liverpool, who have a new manager in charge in Brendan Rodgers.
West Ham take on Aston Villa, and in Saturday's late kick-off, Newcastle play host to Tottenham, who also have a new boss in charge, with Andre Villas-Boas hoping to make a winning start to the season.
