- James Rodriguez, who is a transfer target for Manchester United, will resolve his future soon, the Porto winger's agent has confirmed to O JOGO.

- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed to French TV station TF1 that a deal for Montpeller striker Olivier Giroud is "90 per cent" done.

- Juventus and Manchester City are on alert as Arsenal have reached a deadlock in contract talks with Robin van Persie, according to the Daily Mirror.

- Real Madrid are prepared to pay Tottenham £30million to beat Manchester United in the race to sign Luka Modric this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
