- Manchester United are confident of winning the race to sign Robin van Persie this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

- But AC Milan are ready to enter the race to sign Van Persie, according to Corriere dello Sport.

- And Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta says the club know what they have to do if they are to sign the Arsenal captain Robin van Persie.

- Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his interest in Joe Allen.

- Robert Lewandowski has once again all but told Arsenal and Manchester United to try and sign him this summer by admitting he wants to play in the Premier League.
