Man Utd target Edinson Cavani to quit PSG this summer – report

Edinson Cavani, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United, is reportedly ready to quit Paris Saint-Germain.   Cavani joined PSG from Napoli last summer, signing a five-year contract after joining the Ligue 1 giants in a £55million deal.   It has been reported throughout the first half of 2014 that the Uruguay international is unhappy at the Parc des Princes, and several clubs are believed to be considering tabling bids.   Last week it was reported by Sky Sports News that Cavani has instructed his agent to secure him a move to the Premier League during the current transfer window, while according to Tuttomercatoweb, both Chelsea and United are weighing up bids for the 27-year-old.   And according to Sportitalia, the player will this week announce his intention to seek a move away from PSG during the summer transfer window.   The development comes after Cavani reportedly failed to return for pre-season training on Monday.   Bookmakers make United favourites to sign Cavani this summer, with 888Sport making the Red Devils 7/4 to sign the forward in their Edinson Cavani Next Club market, ahead of Chelsea, who at time of writing are 5/1.

I am relaxed on what those can say about my work. Palermo, Napoli and PSG all gave me this confidence.   “A change of club does not solely depend on the wants of the player, there have to be different movements among clubs.   “I have a four year contract with Paris. The Premier League or the Bundesliga? I like them a lot but I am not used to constantly changing league.   “Germany, Spain, Italy and England have the best leagues. But France are progressing.”
