Lleyton Hewitt and David Nalbandian will meet in Day 2 action in a match that many consider to be the jewel of the men's first round.

The 2011 Australian Open is well underway as Day 1 saw the men's and women's main draws begin. There were no enormous upsets on the opening day although Justine Henin did face a bit of a scare as did 6th seeded Francesca Schiavone.

Day 2 will feature Lleyton Hewitt as one of the main headliners but 4th ranked Robin Soderling will also be in action.

In another key match former world number 1 Dinara Safina will face Kim Clijsters in a contest that the Belgian cannot afford to take lightly as the Russian has been to the Melbourne Park finals recently (2009).

On prime time in Australia, Lleyton Hewitt will take center stage at Rod Laver Arena as he and David Nalbandian are in each other's way.
