Renan Barao is the bookmakers' favourite to win tonight's UFC 149 main event clash with Urijah Faber.
Barao remains unbeaten in the UFC and has lost just one fight in his career - his very first bout as a professional fighter.
But despite being the underdog, Faber is confident going into the bout.
"I’ve definitely fought better fighters but the guy’s got the championship mentality, there’s no doubt about that," said the 'California Kid'.
"This is going to be his toughest test. This is not going to be my toughest."
Barao might be considered to have the advantage both on his feet and on the floor. An incredible 85 per cent of his successful strikes have come when he is on his feet, compared to just 55 per cent for Faber.
The two have both won more fights through submission than any other method, with Faber on 14 career submissions and Barao on 13. Barao is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, however, to Faber’s brown.
Elsewhere at UFC 149 tonight, Hector Lombard is the huge odds-on favourite to beat Tim Boestch his UFC debut. The Cuban has gone 25 fights without defeat, with his only losses coming back in 2006 in PRIDE - both via decision.
Lombard has never submitted nor been knocked out in 35 fights, and goes in to his Octagon debut knowing that a win is likely to result in a title shot.
But that said, Boestch is yet to lose as a middleweight in the UFC, with two decision wins and a TKO over Yushin Okami in his last fight to his name.
