Game time is at 4:15pm ET on Sunday with Minnesota on the road.

The Minnesota Vikings are underdogs heading into New England today to take on the Patriots.  The Vikings are just 2-4 on the year overall, winless on the road at 0-3, and they sit at -5 on net points heading into the game.

None of that is overly impressive and for a team that was once considered a peripheral Super Bowl threat, the Vikings are now in danger of not making the post-season.

The Patriots on the other hand, look like polar opposites.  They have won 4 straight to improve to 5-1 on the year and their net points sits at +41.  New England are also undefeated at home this season and it would be quite surprising if Minnesota were able to win this game.

What is not surprising is that there is some drama surrounding Brett Favre.  His Iron Man streak may end today, another situation that makes the Vikings look like they are dead meat in this game.

The Patriots have a huge 15 game home winning streak against the NFC teams and that is a streak that is tough to bet against.
