NFL Games this Weekend - AFC and NFC Championships

The conference finals for the NFL football playoffs will both be played this weekend.  First up is the NFC championship game, one that starts at 3pm ET on Sunday with FOX providing television coverage.

That game will feature the Green Bay Packers as they travel to Chicago to face the Bears.

The second game of the day, the AFC championship, will come from Pittsburgh as the Steelers host the Jets. The Jets are an unlikely conference finalist as they won on the road last weekend against the toughest team - the New England Patriots. With that victory behind them they should have a lot of confidence heading into Heinz Field with CBS providing the coverage and game time being 6:30pm ET on Sunday.

Super Bowl XLV will come, not next weekend, but the weekend after as the winners of the conference finals will meet on Sunday February 6th.
