The Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins met on Thursday night in a game from the Bell Center in Montreal.
The Montreal Canadiens had a fantastic opportunity to bury the Boston Bruins in a deep hole in game four of their first round Stanley Cup playoffs series on Thursday night.
Montreal entered the game up 2-1 and, on home ice, they had a third period lead in game four before losing that and then losing in overtime.
The Canadiens are not in serious trouble at this point as the series is 2-2 but they have lost the edge that they earned in Boston early in the series.
Game five will come from TD Garden on Saturday in a game that starts at 7pm ET and it is Boston who enter the game with the momentum.
