Arsenal have reportedly stepped up interest in Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The 18-year-old, who is currently on loan at League Two Cheltenham Town, has been on the Gunners' radar for some time.
And according to the Daily Star, Arsenal are ready to make their move for the England Under-21 international, with manager Arsene Wenger sending chief scout Steve Rowley and goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton to watch the teenager in Stuart Pearce’s side's 5-0 win over Iceland last week.
Butland, who recently signed a new four-year deal with Birmingham, would likely cost around £1million.
Manchester City and Sunderland are also monitoring the highly-rated youngster.
