Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly look to make a double raid on Ligue 1 for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and Sochaux's Marvin Martin.
The duo are two of several players currently playing in France who are on Wenger's radar, with Lille playmaker Eden Hazard believed to be top of his shopping list (see below) and Lyon's Yoann Gourcuff also of interest.
But according to InsideFutbol, Wenger will look to lure M'Vila and Martin to the Emirates in January.
Reports earlier this month suggested that Wenger is keen on having M'Vila at the club for the second half of the season as a result of the injury to midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Inter Milan are also keen on the 21-year-old, who Rennes coach Frederic Antonetti recently admitted could be on the move next year - especially if he impresses at Euro 2012.
23-year-old Martin has been on Arsenal's radar for some time, while Newcastle are also believed to be interested.
The player only signed a new contract with Sochaux last month, but his new deal includes a buyout clause which allows him to leave the club next summer.
He did, however, earlier this month insist that he would not seek a move in the New Year.
"I've started the season with Sochaux, and I'll finish it with Sochaux as well," he said recently.
"I have absolutely no desire to leave the side like that in the middle of the season."
