Arsenal vs. Aston Villa takes place this afternoon in the Premier League.

The game, which takes place at Emirates Stadium, is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.

Arsenal have had a terrible week and will be keen to get back to winning ways against struggling Villa.

The Gunners lost 3-1 at home to Bayern Munich on Tuesday night in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, with that defeat coming just days after they were knocked out of the FA Cup at the hands of Championship side Blackburn last weekend.

Arsenal look likely to end yet another season without any silverware as their trophy drought - which dates back to 2005 - continues, but manager Arsene Wenger insists he has no plans to quit.

When asked at Friday's pre-match press conference if had considered his position, Wenger told reporters: "Never, not for one second. My love for the game and love of winning is what keeps me going."

Arsenal admits the Villa game is "vital".

"We have to prepare ourselves for a battle," he added.

"It is always a battle against Aston Villa. The crowd will play a big part, especially after Tuesday night. We must get them behind us. This is a very important game for us. It is vital because we play at home and want to come back in a strong position."
