Team news:

Atletico Madrid have doubts over midfielder Mario Suarez (ligament), but goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (knock) is expected to be passed fit.

Newly-crowned Primera Liga champions Barcelona have Lionel Messi (hamstring) set to start, while Victor Valdes (foot) and Javier Mascherano (knee) are also in contention.

Cesc Fabregas returns from suspension and could start in midfield.

What they've said ahead of kick-off:

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova: "I know they’ll want to beat us. It’s always an added motivation to be playing Barca.

"They’ve only let in 10 goals at home and are having an excellent season. They have the cup final to think about, but they have a big enough squad to be able to cope well enough with this match too."

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone: "There is no better way to get ready for a cup final than to face the best team in the world. When you meet the best, that is a good thing. And tomorrow we take on the best of the lot.

"We are lucky enough here to see the best teams. Barcelona is a tremendous side, certainly the best in recent years. If we want to be competitive, what better way than to test ourselves against them? Next year [in the Champions League] we shall be doing this all the time - playing against big sides continually."

Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona stats:

- Atletico Madrid have won just one of their last four home game in La Liga, drawing one and losing two.

- Barcelona have won just one of their last seven away matches in all competitions, drawing three and losing three.
