Team News:

PSG are without Jeremy Menez (back) and Javier Pastore (foot), coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed.

Blanc will make a decision ahead of kick-off on whether the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani feature from the start following this week's international games.

What they've said ahead of kick-off:

Laurent Blanc: "Bordeaux is a city I really like. The people there are quite reserved, like me. I like that mentality. I had three great years there and only have happy memories. It is a pleasure to go back."

PSG defender Christophe Jallet: "Bordeaux are one of these teams who are capable of defending well and punishing you on the break.

"We saw that in the Champions Trophy before we turned the game around late on. We know what to expect and what we need to do better against them this time around."

Bordeaux defender Mariano: "For the past couple of years they've had a very strong side. There is a lot of talent in that squad, and thet makes them a hard team to play against.

"For us, this game is crucial to kick-start our season. So far, we haven't started as well as we should have. Two defeats, one draw and one win: that's not good enough. Playing a team like Paris is tough, but it's the perfect chance for us to get our season back on track."
