Capital One Cup fixtures for Tuesday, December 1st 2015

There are three games taking place tonight in the Capital One Cup, with Everton and Manchester City both in quarter-final action.

Tuesday’s Capital One Cup action all takes place at 7.45pm.

At the Etihad Stadium, Man City play host to Hull City.

Middlesbrough host Everton for a place in the League Cup semi-finals, while at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke City play host to Sheffield Wednesday.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s games, Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has thanked Everton boss Roberto Martinez for helping him settle after moving to England two years ago.

Karanka was appointed Boro boss in 2013 following a spell as Real Madrid assisatant coach, some 18 years after Martinez joined Wigan as a player.

“I have to thank Roberto, I had a really good conversation with him when I came here and that helped a lot,” he told BBC Tees.

“It’s interesting because Roberto came here 20 years ago and now he’s a successful Premier League manager.”
