Cesc Fabregas sets new record but FC Barcelona held again

Barcelona were held to a 2-2 draw at Valencia on Wednesday night, but summer signing Cesc Fabregas set a new club record.

Pep Guardiola's side twice fell behind, with a late Fabregas goal salvaging a point for the Spanish champions.

It was the fourth consecutive match that Fabregas has scored in - a new record for a new signing at Camp Nou.

The result left the Catalans in fourth position in Primera Liga, two points behind leaders Valencia.

Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid side were held 0-0 at Racing Santander with the result leaving them back in 7th position.

It was the first time Los Blancos had gone back-to-back games without a win since Mourinho took charge.
