Chelsea are reportedly closing in on the signing of Metalist Kharkiv forward Taison.
Reports over the past week had suggested that Taison could join Chelsea this month as the west London club look to add to their attacking options.
The Brazilian, who can play either as a striker, or in midfield, has admitted that he is keen on being reunited with Oscar, and last week revealed he has spoken to Blues owner Roman Abramovich over a potential to Stamford Bridge.
And according to Sky Sports, Chelsea have agreed a fee with Metalist to sign Taison, although they face competition from another Premier League club.
Metalist want to keep hold of the player, but it is believed Chelsea have already agreed personal terms.
According to Monday's report, an unnamed Premier League club has also made an approach to Metalist for Taison, but Chelsea are seen as favourites to secure his signature.
Taison, who joined Metalist Kharkiv from Internacional, where he played alongside Oscar, last week told Diario Popular: "I went to England [some weeks ago] just to take a look. I talked to the president."
Of Oscar, he added : "I see Oscar, who I played alongside at Internacional, and I want to play with him again."
Taison's agent had in recent days refused to rule out a move before the end of the month.
"The club want him to stay, but there are many things coming," Diego Dornelles said.
