Real Madrid are reportedly ready to sell Kaka - and Chelsea will be given the chance to sign the Brazilian.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the 29-year-old for some time, despite the player himself and his father recently insisting that he was happy at the Bernabeu.
But there has been speculation for some time that Los Blancos would look to offload the former AC Milan playmaker after an unimpressive season.
And according to The People, Real coach Jose Mourinho is ready to sell Kaka before the end of August after being unimpressed with his pre-season performances.
The Spanish giants paid nearly £60million to sign Kaka from Milan in 2009 but will have to accept making a huge loss on the Brazil international, with Sunday's report suggesting Real will sell for around £25m.
Milan on Saturday ruled out the possibility of taking Kaka back for a second spell - although the player is believed to prefer a return to Serie A rather than a move to the Premier League - with CEO Adriano Galliani telling Sky Sports Italia: "The return of Kaka at Milan is an impossible task."
