CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev insists he has no plans to leave the club following reports linking him with a move to Chelsea.

The Russia international was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge 18 months ago when current No. 1 Petr Cech was struggling to recover his form after fracturing his skull.

Earlier this month, reports suggested Akinfeev was back on Chelsea's radar and was seen as a long-term replacement for Cech.

But the 25-year-old insists he has no plans to quit CSKA and told Russian newspaper Sport Express: "What has been published is not true. I recently renewed my contract with CSKA to stay here.

"I feel good at this club and I'm not negotiating with any others."

Akinfeev has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, while Manchester United have previously shown interest in the £10million-rated shot-stopper.
