Didier Drogba was a target for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho this summer, it has been claimed.
Drogba, who signed for Galatasaray in January, had earlier this year hinted he could be tempted to return to Chelsea if he was given the chance to work with Mourinho again.
And Turkish football agent Ceylan Caliskan has claimed that the 'Special One' recently called the Ivory Coast international about him returning to Stamford Bridge.
"Mourinho called Drogba and told him he would like to see him back at Chelsea," Caliskan told Sporx.
"Drogba and Mourinho have a great relationship, they both respect each other very highly.
"However, Drogba is very happy at Galatasaray and informed his former coach that he has no intentions of leaving the club."
Back in April, Drogba had said when asked about whether he would play under Mourinho again: "Why not? It would be interesting."
"But for now I'm really happy here and I want to go until the end of this experience and see what I can bring to this club."
