Barcelona have been dealt a blow by the news that forward Alexis Sanchez may miss tonight's El Clasico clash with Real Madrid.

Sanchez, who has already had spells on the sidelines this season with hamstring and collarbone injuries, was withdrawn in the second half of Wednesday's Champions League semi-final first-leg defeat at Chelsea.

And according to Sport, the Chile international is now doubtful for Saturday night's game at Camp Nou.

Sanchez, who was reportedly injured as a result of a challenge from Chelsea captain John Terry, is scheduled to undergo a series of tests on Friday to determine whether he will be available for the game which may decide whether Barca remain in the title race in La Liga.
