The likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid have reportedly been told that Gareth Bale will cost them an astonishing £150million.
Bale has been on Barca's radar for some time, with coach Pep Guardiola sending scouts to watch him play for Spurs on more than one occasion this season.
The Wales international, who is also of interest to rivals Real Madrid, recently admitted that he would be open to a move to Spain in the future, although he insisted he was happy at White Hart Lane right now.
There has also been interest from the Premier League, with Chelsea and Manchester City both showing interest.
And according to the Sunday Mirror, Premier League leaders City recently made "discreet enquiries" about the 22-year-old, which resulted in them being told they would have to smash the world-record if they are to lure the former Southampton player to the Etihad Stadium.
Tottenham's £150m asking price would shatter the current £80m record transfer fee paid by Real Madrid to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in June 2009.
AC Milan and rivals Inter have also shown interest in Bale.
