Birmingham defender Scott Dann, who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool this summer, has reportedly been offered to QPR.
The centre-back is keen on securing a move back to a Premier League club before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night.
Liverpool were believed to be closing in on the £8million-rated defender before turning their attention to Uruguay international Sebastian Coates, while Arsenal only see Dann as an option should they fail to sign the likes of Gary Cahill, Phil Jagielka and Chris Samba in the next few days.
And according to the Daily Mail, Dann has been offered to QPR as Birmingham look to get his high wages off the books before the transfer deadline.
QPR now have the financial backing of Tony Fernandes and last week signed Joey Barton from Newcastle.
Several other players have been linked with a move to Loftus Road over the weekend, with Liverpool playmaker Joe Cole thought to be high on their list of targets.
Reports earlier this month had suggested Arsenal were trying to sign the centre-back for less than his £8m valuation.
