Inter Milan striker Luc Castaignos is still reportedly a target for Liverpool.
Liverpool are widely expected to bring in at least one forward this summer, and a deal for Castaignos is believed to have been close during the winter transfer window.
Reports back in January had suggested that Liverpool were looking to sign the 19-year-old on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move in the summer, although the teenager's represenatives later insisted that was not the case.
Although he has struggled to get regular first-team football, Castaignos is still part of Inter's long-term plans, but reports in Italy in recent weeks have claimed the Italian giants could now be open to a loan deal.
And according to Voetbal International, Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is still keen on the Netherlands Under-19 international.
Back in January, a spokesperson from Castaignos' management company, Sportconsult Nederland, confirmed there was "interest from Italy, England and Germany."
