Darren Ambrose has urged teenage striker Wilfred Zaha to stay at Crystal Palace following reports linking him with a move to Liverpool.
Reports earlier this month had suggested that Liverpool were considering making a bid for the highly-rated 18-year-old when the transfer window reopens in January.
Zaha was believed to have been on the Merseysiders' radar earlier in the year and back in the Spring it was thought that a summer bid could be tabled.
And with reports suggesting a number of clubs are monitoring the England Under-19 international, Palace midfielder Ambrose believes the teenager would be wise to stay with the nPower Championship club for the time being.
"It's no surprise to see him linked with other clubs," said Ambrose.
"But Victor [Moses] didn't get much playing time at Wigan last year, although he's come in now.
"It would be nice to keep Wilfred here because he is a great player for us.".
Arsenal have also shown interest in the Ivory Coast-born youngster.
