Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has no fresh injury concerns ahead of this afternoon's clash.
Rodgers remains without Daniel Agger (calf) and Glen Johnson (ankle), while fellow defender Jose Enrique (knee) is unlikely to return for several more weeks.
Arsenal travel to Merseyside expecting midfielder Jack Wilshere (ankle) to be available.
Mathieu Flamini is still suspended, while Aaron Ramsey (thigh) and deadline-day loan signing Kim Kallstrom (back) are still missing, along with defender Thomas Vermaelen (calf), midfielders Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott (both knee), and young forward Yaya Sanogo (back).
What they've said ahead of kick-off:
Brendan Rodgers (on Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge): "I wouldn't say they're a partnership. They both have a goal-scoring mentality. They'll arrive in the same areas, but how they get there is different. They have different qualities. But they are both goalscorers, and prolific scorers. I hope they continue to do that. But we're looking for other players to chip in as well."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "We’ll have to wait until the end of February to have the exact idea of who will fight for the Premier League. It's an important month for many teams and maybe we will need a bit of patience. You always think about the psychological impact of the last result on the morale of the team, as well as the confidence and happiness of everybody. You think the only way to deal with it is to just focus on the next one and win it, then everything will be alright."
