Liverpool have doubts over Daniel Sturridge ahead of this evening's trip to Wigan in the Premier League (17:30 GMT).

Sturridge (knock) will be assessed ahead of kick-off at the DW Stadium.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has defender Martin Skrtel (knee) fit again, although he is likely to be on the bench.

Fabio Borini (shoulder) and Martin Kelly (knee) remain sidelined.

Wigan have defender Antolin Alcaraz (groin) back in contention after a six-month lay-off.

Emmerson Boyce (hamstring) could also feature, but winger Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) is not quite ready to return.
